Jeuveau is a neurotoxin developed from Evolus, a South Korean company. Juveau works similar to Botox. It is injected into the muscle to prevent the appearance of wrinkles by blocking the nerve impulses that control muscle contraction. Jeuveau is the latest of the neurotoxins to achieve FDA approval in February 2019. Unlike the previous 3 neurotoxins, it is only FDA approved for cosmetic reasons and is not approved for medical management of hyperhydrosis or migraines.
Daxxify is the only frown treatment that is created from a peptide making this unique. Therefore, results may last longer than other neurotoxin treatments. All frown treatments require a special stabilizer in its ingredients. For example. Botox uses human serum albumin (HSA), a blood product to help stabilize it. Dysport uses both human serum album (HSA and cow's milk as it's stabilizer). Daxxify is unique in that it does not use any stabilizing ingredient from humans or animals, and uses a peptide instead.
Xeomin treatment is an injetion that prevents the formation of wrinkles by temporarily blocking the nerve impulses that cause contractions. Patients who have had previous treamtents with Botox and Dysport and find that these treatments are less effective for them, may want to try Xeomin. Xeomin has no additional ingredients in its purified protein mix therefore, there is less risk of developing antibodies from forming causing the product to be less effective over time.
A Botox treatment is an injection into the muscle to prevent the appearance of wrinkles by blocking the nerve impulses that control muscle contraction. Botox and Dysport are commonly used in the two most popular area; the forehead and between the eyebrows to create an overall more refreshed look. Additionally, Botox is commonly used to help with TMJ pain, jaw clenching and hyperhydrosis.
Dysport treatment is an injetion that prevents the formation of wrinkles by temporarily blocking the nerve impulses that cause contractions. Botox and Dysport essentially work the same. There is only a slight difference between Dysport and Botox., as a Dysport treatment is notably more diluted than Botox therefore more product (units) are required to achieve the same result. Botox and Dysport are commonly injected in the forehead and around the eyes.
