BOTOX
A Botox treatment is an injection into the muscle to prevent the appearance of wrinkles by blocking the nerve impulses that control muscle contraction. Botox and Dysport are commonly used in the two most popular area; the forehead and between the eyebrows to create an overall more refreshed look. Additionally, Botox is commonly used to help with TMJ pain, jaw clenching and hyperhydrosis.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Botox works by blocking the nerve impulses in the muscles, relaxing the muscle and prevcenting it from being able to contract causing wrinkles.
PAIN LEVEL
We offer topical numbing prior to procedure, and most patients tolerate this very well.
SERVICE AND TREATMENT TIMES
About 10 minutes, making this a perfect lunch time procedure.
DOWNTIME
No downtime, you can resume normal daily activities right after.
EXPECTING RESULTS
Botox kicks in, around 5-7 days post treatment with full results seen in 2 weeks post treatment. Results last 3-4 months on average.
